About Me

Hi there! Welcome to my corner of the internet.

I’m Alexander, a “young” father and husband, a passionate IT professional, and a furry thieving and murdering scumbag. Though that last part applies only to my current DnD character. In life, I’m a gentle giant.

A Little About Me

I grew up in a small rural village in Belgium, coming from a working-class family with two sisters. My journey has been anything but straightforward. I started out studying IT, switched to psychology in university searching for answers about life, and eventually found my way back to IT through self-teaching. I’ve worked in HR, and now I’m back in the tech world, where my passion truly lies.

Why I Started This Blog

I started this blog for several reasons:

  • An Outlet and Practice Ground: Writing has always been something I wanted to do more of. This blog is my practice ground, a place to put my thoughts into words, and a way to get better at it.
  • Sharing: I have learned so much from others who shared their experiences online. I hope to give back by sharing my own experiences and thoughts.
  • Connection: I hope to connect with others who share similar interests or experiences. I believe that sharing our stories can help us feel more connected to one another.

What You’ll Find Here

You’ll find posts primarily about tech. Not always pure technial articles but more often some philosophical musing. But this might turn into something else as well. I’m also a father, a husband, and a human being with a wide range of interests, so you might find posts about those topics too.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you find something here that resonates with you. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or just want to chat.
